Indigo has been used as a dye all over the world for centuries. It’s no surprise that the mysteries and magic of indigo have held a special fascination for dyers, no matter their level of experience. Come spend a day “playing” with indigo and learn more about the principles of Shibori. Through various methods of folding and clamping, binding and stitching, you can create your own unique textiles. Beginners welcome!
Had a wonderful day with these ladies – Joy, Barbara and Grace. As usual such varied, colourful and painterly pieces. Here are a few photos of our time in the new classroom space at Unwind Yarn House in Newmarket. Thanks yet again Michele!!!!!!
